What does military service entail?
The band members will go through a five-week combat training period before receiving assignments to specific units and duties. Suga is presently fulfilling his duties as a social service agent, a unique service path resulting from a shoulder operation, with a distinctive service period of 21 months.
In contrast, the other members of the group will serve in the army across various units. The Military Manpower Administration has clarified that the singers will undergo the same conscription process as other South Korean males enlisted for military service.
