This year the MTV European Awards is set to take place in Paris, and its stage is going to be taken by storm by artists like The Kid Laroi, Sabrina Carpenter, Rema, David Guetta, Anne-Marie, Thirty Seconds to Mars, and Jungkook, among others. However, the Korean musical star is not just performing.
Jungkook is also nominated for three awards this year, Best Song (for his hit single Seven, featuring Latto), Best K-pop, and Biggest Fans. November is going to be an exciting time for Jungkook as he is also set to release his first solo album Golden, featuring eleven English songs, including the title song Standing Next To You, at 1pm KST. The album also features collaboration with some of Western countries’ finest artists, and has created quite a buzz.
Fans are highly excited as there are rumours circulating that the K-pop singer may perform some of the new songs from his debut album. To add a cherry to the top, EMA has shared a teasing new motion poster of Jungkook, further fanning the flames of anticipation.
Though previously Jungkook has performed at the EMAs as part of BTS, this will be his first solo venture on the show. Also, he is tying in first place with TXT as the most-nominated K-pop artists, with three EMA nominations each.
However, Jungkook has no reason to fear, especially since Seven already hit #1 on Billboard in July, and because he is a phenomenal performer with a loyal fan base eager to see him perform. He is also the third K-pop artist to perform at the MTV EMAs.
