In South Korea, where mandatory military service enlistment is required for all able-bodied men, numerous K-pop idols and K-drama actors fulfilled their enlistment duties in the year 2022. Despite the typical waiting period being just 18 months, the passage of time during this period can often feel like an eternity.
Now, as the New Year has begun, 2024 promises the return of a multitude of Korean celebrities, eagerly anticipated by their fans, as they complete their military service. Here's a list of 18 Korean celebrities set to conclude their military enlistments in 2024.
Mino (WINNER)
Mino, who commenced his military service in March 2023, is scheduled to complete his service and be discharged from the military on December 23.
Yoon (WINNER)
He entered military service as an active-duty soldier on June 20, 2023, and is set to be discharged from the military on December 19.
Yonghoon (ONEWE)
Having enlisted as an active-duty soldier on July 12, 2022, he is scheduled to be discharged from the military on January 11.
Kanghyun (ONEWE)
He enlisted to serve as an active-duty soldier on August 2, 2022 and is expected to be discharged from the military on February 1.
Jin (BTS)
In December 2022, Jin commenced his mandatory military service and is set to be discharged on June 12.
J-Hope (BTS)
He was enlisted into the military on April 18, 2023, and is scheduled to be discharged on October 17.
JB (GOT7)
He enlisted in February 2023 and is expected to be discharged from the military on November 1.
Jinyoung (GOT7)
On May 8, he commenced his mandatory military service and is slated to be discharged from the military on November 7.

On April 17, he enlisted in the military and is scheduled to be discharged on October 16.

He enlisted on March 21, 2023, and is expected to be discharged from the military on September 20.
Minhyuk (MONSTA X)
On April 4, he officially enlisted in the military for his mandatory service and is set to be discharged on October 3.
