Brother is an upcoming Tamil film that will feature actor Jayam Ravi in the lead role. Scheduled to hit big screens for the occasion of Diwali, the film is directed by filmmaker Rajesh. Before you catch the film in theatres, here is everything you need to know about it.

Release date

Brother has locked its release date as October 31, coming to big screens for the festive season of Diwali. The film will be sharing the box office with various films lined up for release for Diwali. But in Tamil, Brother will be releasing alongside Sivakarthikeyan’s Amaran and Kavin-starrer Bloody Beggar.

Trailer

The trailer for Brother has not yet been released by the makers. However, the teaser is out, which tips the film to be a fun-filled entertainer. With an ensemble star cast, the teaser introduces various characters and has ample jolly moments.

Cast

Besides Jayam Ravi, the film also features actors Priyanka Arul Mohan, Bhumika Chawla, VTV Ganesh, Natraj Subramanian, Rao Ramesh, Achyuth Kumar, Saranya Ponvannan, Seetha, Sathish Krishnan, MS Bhaskar, Suresh Chakravarthy, Vriddhi Visha, and Master Ashwin in prominent roles.

The film is produced by Screen Scene Media Entertainment Pvt Ltd, with Harris Jayaraj scoring the music for the film. Brother is shot by cinematographer Vivekanand Santhosam and edited by Ashish Joseph.

Plot

The plot of Brother has not yet been revealed by the makers. Touted to be a family entertainer and given Rajesh’s filmography, the film is expected to be full of emotions and comedy.

Brother has completed the censor formalities and has received a clean U certificate from the censor board. The film, thus, can be watched by audiences across all age groups making it a family-friendly film.

OTT rights

The OTT rights of the film have been bagged by ZEE5. The film will be released on the platform once the theatrical run of Brother is over. An official OTT release date will be announced by the makers a few weeks after the release of the film.
