The much-awaited third season of one of the most loved shows Bridgerton is coming back on Netflix. The show, which is based on Julia Quinn's Regency romance novels is a period drama show that has a lot of fans all around the world. Today, on April 11, the makers of the show released an exciting new trailer for the show. And as a lot of us wanted to watch, it's finally a love angle between the best friends Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton).
Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington to romance in Bridgerton Season 3?
The 2-minute 48-second clip teases Penelope and Colin's budding romance and it is something we all have been waiting to see since the show started.
The trailer starts with Lady WhWhistledown's narration where she says, "Dearest gentle reader, we have been apart for far too long. At last, London’s fashionable set has made its return, and it seems that our Bon Ton is moving with the changing tide. So, too, is this author." The video then takes us to a scene where Penelope decides to now seriously find her better half and Colin offers her help in finding her a husband. Through the process, Colin finally starts feeling something for her.
We have witnessed in the previous seasons that Penelope's love for Colin kept growing. However, Colin never had the same feelings for her and it broke our hearts to watch that. In the upcoming seasons, the makers, through the trailer have shown that her dream might just get fulfilled as Colin starts feeling something for her as well.
Will Colin finally understand his feelings and confess his love to Penelope? Will they get married this season? As the trailer has finally arrived, we can't wait to watch the new season and know the answers to these questions.
The third season of Bridgerton will be split into two parts. The first part of the show will be released on May 16 while season one will be out on June 13, 2024, on Netflix.
