Bridgerton season 3’s first part left many curious about what will happen next. There were various theories about whose story will be explored next, and the recently released trailer for Bridgerton season 3 part 2 continues to explore Colin and Penelope’s story. Although it is a love story, there’s a big secret which can break them apart.
Colin-Penelope take their relationship to the next step
Colin and Penelope are engaged, about to be married. They confess being happily in love, but there’s a secret that could break them apart forever.
What’s the big secret?
Penelope is Whistledown. If Colin learns the truth about it, the wedding could stand cancelled. However, there are people who want the big secret to be out, thinking that he would find it out anyway, and that if he loves her, he has to accept all of her. Penelope however believes that Whistledown is power and will be at risk if Colin or for that matter anybody else finds out about it.
The ‘sudden’ announcement
Everybody associated with the upcoming nuptials find it sudden. They cannot believe that Colin and Penelope have decided to get married, and Colin accepts it could be a swift move.
The differences
Towards the end of the trailer, one can see differences arise between Colin and Penelope. Colin reckons that Penelope is hiding something. She does not want to reveal it and he discovers that. Penelope tells Colin off stating that she can take care of herself. Colin wonders what good is he if he cannot even take care of his future wife. Penelope is told to cater to Colin’s dreams because ‘ladies do not have dreams, they have husbands.’
Bridgerton part 1 is already out on Netflix. The second part is scheduled to release on the same OTT platform on June 13.
