This week has been an interesting one with varied K-Dramas releasing, and the run began with Brewing Love. What many probably did not notice though, was that the show paid a small tribute to BTS Jin, who has been discharged from the military and has been bestowing upon fans (ARMY) music videos that keep them happy. Jin had released Super Tuna's extended version some time back, and his latest offering is Happy's song, I'll Be There. Jin is also seen in various photoshoots from his album, and one scene in Brewing Love brings together memories of both Super Tuna and Happy. Here's how...
Jin took Super Tuna to a whole new level with the chilling out on a beach vibe. Brewing Love's character Oh Chan-hwi's introduction is in the very same manner. He is seen sipping a refreshment while lounging on what appears to be a beach. The reality, though, is something different. Nonetheless, the sunglasses and his pose are all a deja vu of Kim Seok-jin's Super Tuna extended version.
The beach vibe that you got on Brewing Love through Hwi happens to be a poster outside a vanity van-turned food truck (Hwi's sandwich). It is to be noted that Jin's upcoming album Happy photoshoot was outside one such vanity van. More so, a food truck, which looks like a vanity van, is a part of his song I'll Be There, which is the latest offering from Jin in the music industry. I'll Be There is the first ever song released from his album Happy, which is a love letter from Jin to ARMY.
Brewing Love is the story of an empath who is an expert in crafting beer. Lee Jong-won plays the very character of Yoon Min-ju, a CEO who does not understand, nor does he wish to understand his feelings towards Kim Se-jeong's Chae Yong-joo. She is a woman who is trying to save her branch of beer from going under and for that, she needs to be around Min-ju. Brewing Love will explore them eventually falling in love while working in collaboration.
