The trailer introduces Alyssa Milano’s character, a successful crime fiction writer who is seen doing a reading of her books to an audience. Her narration is placed against a gruesome murder, where a man breaks into a woman’s home and murders her. The victim is revealed to be the writer’s sister and as an investigation into the crime goes underway, Milano finds out some shocking revelations about her sister’s life.
