Bramayugam Box Office Day 9 – Mammootty’s film holds strong; touches Rs. 46 crore mark

Bramayugam, the period horror thriller that features megastar Mammootty in the lead role, hit the big screens on February 25, 2024. The movie, which is helmed by Rahul Sadasivan, has already earned blockbuster status at the box office and has emerged as one of the highest-grossing films of the year. Even though it is a full-fledged experimental film made in black-and-white format, Bramayugam has succeeded in impressing the audiences.

Now, after completing the first 9 days of its release, the Mammootty starrer is holding strong at the box office. Despite clashing with the recent blockbusters Premalu and Manjummel Boys, the Rahul Sadasivan directorial has now succeeded in touching the Rs. 46 crore mark at the worldwide box office.

Bramayugam touches Rs. 46 crore mark at the box office

As per the recent updates, Bramayugam has now touched the Rs. 46 crore mark at the worldwide box office within the first 9 days of its release. The reports suggest that the Mammootty starrer has collected over Rs. 3 crore on Day 9 alone. Even though the period horror thriller has been facing a slight dip in its collection in its second week, it is still holding strong. Things are expected to get better today (February 24, Saturday), as the audience rush will increase again during the weekends.

As reported earlier, Bramayugam is confirmed to enter the Rs. 50 crore club of the Malayalam film industry this weekend. The movie made a total collection of Rs. 42.5 crore within the first 8 days of its release. The all-India collection crossed the Rs. 21.45 crore mark on Day 8, while the movie made Rs. 21 crore from the overseas box office. A detailed collection report for Bramayugam from the first 9 days is expected to be out very soon.

Along with Mammootty, Bramayugam features Arjun Ashokan and Sidharth Bharathan in pivotal roles. The movie, which is jointly penned by director Rahul Sadasivan and renowned writer TD Ramakrishnan, is bankrolled by Night Shift Studios and Y Not Studios.
