Bramayugam release date

The Mammootty starrer has been slated to hit the theatres on February 15, 2024, Thursday. Bramayugam is set to get a pan-Indian release in five languages, including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi. The Rahul Sadasivan is also reportedly gearing up to emerge as the megastar’s all-time biggest overseas release, so far. The movie is also expected to have over 350 screens in Kerala. Bramayugam will also have fans shows across Kerala and the overseas centers, on its release day.

The highly promising official trailer of Bramayugam, which was released on February 10, Saturday, has been receiving excellent responses from the audiences. The trailer, which has raised expectations over the Mammootty starrer, hints that the movie is going to be an unforgettable experience for Malayalam cinema audiences. From the trailer, it is also safe to assume that the megastar's character in the film has negative shades.

Bramayugam Plot – Here’s what we know

As per the reports, Bramayugam, which is set in a different timeline, revolves around a young folklore singer named Thevan, who belongs to the Paanan caste. Thevan enters the crumbling ‘Mana’ (mansion) of a mysterious, aristocratic man named Kunjamon Potti. Even though he tries to escape, Potti has other plans. Mammootty appears in the role of Kunjamon Potti in the movie, which features Arjun Ashokan as Thevan.

Bramayugam cast and crew

Along with Mammootty and Arjun Ashokan, actor-director Sidharth Bharathan is appearing in a pivotal role in the Rahul Sadasivan directorial. Bramayugam also features Amalda Liz and Manikandan Achari, in the supporting roles.

Bramayugam OTT and satellite partners

There is no information on the official OTT partner of Bramayugam, so far. However, the grapevine suggests that the post-theatrical streaming rights of the Mammootty starrer have been bagged by a leading platform, for a record price. If the reports are to be believed, the satellite rights of the film are bagged by multiple TV channels in different languages.

What is the budget of Bramayugam?

According to the reports, the Mammootty starrer has been made with a budget of Rs. 27 crores, and this includes all the expenses including the film’s marketing and promotional campaign. The Bramayugam team has spent well on the production aspects of the film, considering it has been made in black-and-white format. The recently released trailer hints that the team has not compromised in the production design and visual effects of the film.

While considering the massive release in five languages and the increasing pre-release hype, it is safe to assume that the Mammootty starrer is gearing up for a massive opening at the box office. If things go as planned, Bramayugam has all the chances to make a Rs. 3 crore plus opening at the box office, on its release day.
