After the critical success of A Star is Born – The multiple Oscar-nominated actor Bradley Cooper is returning in his directorial persona to captivate everyone in his new biographical drama film, based on the legendary music composer Leonard Bernstein.

The promising trailer revolves around the titular character, his turning points, and his glorious fame as a music conductor. Inspired by the music legend, Leonard Bernstein - Mestro also reflects different aspects of Bernstein’s sexuality, fame, music career, and married life after a chance meeting with Felicia, who later becomes his wife. In the 2:44-minute trailer, we witness an old man telling his life story in a flashback.
“Music, it keeps me glued to life,” he says in the voiceover.

After its limited theatrical release in the US, Maestro is gearing up for its OTT release and Netflix grabbed the streaming rights. Fans can quench their thirst for Bradley Cooper’s highly anticipated film as it is set to roll out on December 22, a few days ahead of Christmas.
Cast/Plot
The biographical drama will be led by Bradley Cooper (who plays the titular Leonard Bernstein), and joining him is Carey Mulligan as his wife and lover Felicia Montealegre.
Amongst the pivotal supporting cast members are Matt Boomer, Maya Hawke, and Sarah Silverman.

Six years of Maestro
In an exclusive interview series by Variety, Actors on Actors – Bradley Cooper appeared with his long-time friend and acclaimed actress Emma Stone. The Hangover actor shared that his film Maestro took a whopping six years to complete and appear on the big screen. The idea and shoot began somewhere around 2017 and six years later in 2023, the movie wrapped up its shoot and other events to finally grace the big screens. Apart from several backstories and rehearsal anecdotes, Cooper also talked about hard work and performances.
