Telugu audiences encourage films from different languages and the love for Malayalam cinema has grown by leaps and bounds in the last few years. It all started with films Bangalore Days and Premam which were solid hits in Telugu states as well. The youth watched the Malayalam versions with joy and a film like Nivin Pauly-starrer Premam ran over 50 days in Hyderabad.
Now, the culture has caught on quite well and Malayalam films are getting direct release in Hyderabad. The latest example is Mammootty's Bramayugam and the romantic comedy Premalu which have caught the attention of many. Both these films were released on February 15, 2024, in Hyderabad and are going strong.
As per the latest box office update, several multiplexes have added extra shows for these films which are attracting decent crowds. As the buzz for these films is also high on social media, many want to watch the original versions with subtitles.

The romantic drama is co-written and directed by Girish A. D. The film stars Naslen K. Gafoor and Mamitha Baiju in the lead roles. It also features Shyam Mohan M, Meenakshi Raveendran, Akhila Bhargavan, Althaf Salim, Mathew Thomas, and Sangeet Pratap.
