Unlike how the story of ‘once upon a time, there was a king’ is outdated, we’re here to present the tale of Bootcut Balaraju (referring to ‘raju’ as king), the makers commence with a voice over. The glimpse focuses on the various insults the protagonist faces from his neighbours and teachers at college. He doesn’t take them seriously. Meanwhile, there’s a dose of romance besides the song-dance routine.
The tale later shifts its focus towards a matriarch in the village, which has a key link to a conflict in Balaraju’s life. There are multiple woman falling for him and there’s some drunk banter. The target audience for Bootcut Balaraju is clear - the objective is to cater it to the masses. Sunil, Indraja, Avinash, Saddam and Kotha Bangaru Lokam Vivek form the supporting cast of the entertainer.
Md. Pasha is bankrolling the film under Global Films and Katha Veruntadhi. Pandu and Mamidishetty Srinivas are the co-producers. Shyam K Naidu is the cinematographer and Bheems Ceciroleo is the composer. Vijay Vardhan is the editor with Lucky Media unit coming up with the script. Dubasi Rakesh and Jabardasth Ramprasad wrote the dialogues.
