SJ Suryah and Priya Bhavani Shankar's long-delayed Bommai is gearing up to hit screens on June 16. Ahead of the release, the makers today dropped a sneak peek of the film. In the short video that spans a little more than two minutes, SJ Suryah is seen grappling with many emotions and switching from one emotion to another with effortless ease in police custody. The sneak peek has already won the hearts of many.
The sneak peek was released by Yuvan Shankar Raja in Malaysia where the team is present for the pre-release event. SJ Suryah, in his trademark style, called his upcoming film, 'tharamaana sambhavam thayaara irunga friends (sic)."
The trailer of the film was launched not long ago by Custody director Venkat Prabhu. Going by the trailer, SJ Suryah is seen falling in love with a mannequin, played by Priya Bhavani Shankar. As he believes that the mannequin too has fallen in love with him, he becomes possessive of the same.
SJ Suryah had played a crucial part in Venkat Prabhu's film, Maanaadu, in which he shared screen space with Silambarasan TR.
The film is directed by Radhamohan, who had earlier helmed feel-good dramas like Mozhi, Abhiyum Naanum and Kaatrin Mozhi. Music for the film is by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by Richard M Nathan and lyrics are by Madhan Karky.
SJ Suryah also has in his kitty, Adhik Ravichandran's Mark Antony and Karthik Subbaraj's Jigarthanda Double X. The actor will be seen in retro looks in both the films and his looks have already become a huge hit on social media. While the shooting for Mark Antony is completed, the actor is working on Jigarthanda Double X. With a number of interesting films in his kitty, the year sure seems to be a packed one for the actor.
