Filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh gave a cheeky reply to one of the fans who asked a question about Chitrangda Singh’s character in the film, Bob Biswas. The film, which stars Singh along with Abhishek Bachchan, released on Zee5 last year. The drama is directed by Diya Ghosh and it opened to mixed reviews.
Recently, a Twitter user asked Sujoy Ghosh why did he make Chitrangda Singh 'goondo aata' in the film Bob Biswas. He further wrote in his tweet, "There was no script demand. Khuda ka khauf khao.” The tweet caught the attention of the filmmaker and he replied. He said, "My apologies. you’re right. script demanded maida (white flour) but couldn’t get in time.”

The film Bob Biswas is the story of the contract killer from the film Kahaani, which has Vidya Balan, Parambrata Chatterjee and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead roles. But it was Saswata Chatterjee, who played the role of Bob in the 2012 film, directed by Sujoy Ghosh. Ghosh directed the sequel too. But its spin-off film, Bob Biswas is directed by his daughter, Diya Ghosh. The role of Bob Biswas is played by Abhishek Bachchan and Chitrangda plays his wife in the film.
The film is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Bound Script Production banners. It is currently streaming on Zee5.
