Black Warrant Twitter Review: Zahan Kapoor wows fans with his magnetic performance as jailer of Tihar Jail, netizens celebrate 'amazing' series

Vikramaditya Motwane's latest series, Black Warrant, was released on Netflix on January 10. The series takes us inside Tihar Jail, India’s largest and most notorious prison, through the perspective of rookie jailer Sunil Gupta, portrayed by Zahan Kapoor. As the prison drama dropped online, fans took to their X (formerly Twitter) accounts and shared their reviews, and the series has seemingly won over the internet.

In Black Warrant, Zahan Kapoor, the grandson of Shashi Kapoor, played the role of a jailer at Tihar Jail. He wowed fans with his magnetic performance and earned immense love and praise.

One fan wrote, "#BlackWarrantOnNetflix it’s early morning and still binge watching. What a perfectly crafted and acted show. Each actor delivers a punch. #VikramadityaMotwane has hit it again out of the park!! Loved it from the first frame!!! @NetflixIndia kudos for another winner."

About Black Warrant

Black Warrant stars Zahan Kapoor as Sunil Gupta, a rookie jailer, entering the jaws of a system where power and fame reign supreme and demand the price of survival. Along with his two trusted fellow jailers, he overcomes challenges and navigates the harsh realities of Tihar Jail's power dynamics and politics and takes on some notorious prisoners.

Meanwhile, set in the 80s, Vikramaditya Motwane and Satyanshu Singh's series is based on the non-fiction book Black Warrant: Confessions of a Tihar Jailer.
