Birthmark Telugu OTT release date: When, where to watch Mirnaa and Shabeer's film

After Premalu's success, Aha is bagging the rights to many South Indian films. Next in line is Birthmark, a 2024 Tamil film that hit the screens on February 23, 2024. The social drama, written and directed by Vikram Shreedharan, is all set to stream on Aha on August 8, 2024.

We have learnt that Aha has purchased the rights at a nominal price and has added the film to its library. Birthmark starred Shabeer Kallarakkal and Mirnaa Menon in the lead roles. Produced by Vikram Shreedharan and Sriram Sivaraman under the banner of Sapiens Entertainment, Birthmark did not fare well at the box office, and there were few takers for the OTT release as well.

Udhay Thangavel was the music composer, and Vishal Chandrashekhar was in charge of the art direction. Iniyavan Pandiyan edited the film. The film is about Lieutenant Daniel and Jenny, who arrive at an isolated natural birthing village centre as they are expecting their first child.

However, things do not seem as natural and pure as they claim to be, and Jenny senses something uneasy with each passing day, both with the centre and her husband. 

Aha has dubbed the film in Telugu and is likely to keep the edited versions for the OTT release as well. The popular OTT platform is in the news for its show, Indian Idol 3 Telugu, which has caught on quite well as the elimination episodes are on as of now.

The other day, star heroine Rashmima Mandanna graced the show, and this became a talking point all over. In the days to come, more popular stars will grace the show and make it a solid hit.
