Kannada actor Aniissh has taken audience feedback to heart. Flooded with messages on social media to do something out-of-the-box, the actor has been on the lookout for the right subject, which, it seems, he has found with his next, Aaram Aravind Swamy. Directed by Abhishek Shetty, who has made Nam Gani B.Com Pass and Gajanana and Gang, Aaram Arvind Swamy pairs Aniissh with Milana Nagaraj.
On the actor’s birthday today, the team revealed a fun video to explain that Aaram Aravind Swamy will not be a regular commercial movie. Aniissh is seen stepping out of a cardboard box and then explaining to Abhishek that he’s been besieged with messages to stop doing the same kind of routine commercial entertainers and think out-of-the-box. In response, Abhishek tells him that he has a story that fits right into Aniissh’s scheme of thing. “There will be no fights, no foreign location shoots and no punch lines or heavy dialogues,” says director Abhishek in the promo video, suggesting that shooting of the film has started. The film, we hear, will be a romantic comedy entertainer, which pairs him with Milana for the first time. Talking to the media, Milana had said that she will have two looks in the film and that the role is genuinely different from the work she’s done earlier. The actress, who was last seen in her husband Darling Krishna’s Mr Bachelor, reunites with him in Love Birds and Kousalya Supraja Rama. She also has a film with Pruthvi Ambaar, called For Regn, among others.
Incidentally, when Abhishek, who is also an actor, first announced Aaram Aravind Swamy, he had said that he would play the lead in the film. Looks like that didn’t span out. Meanwhile, Aniissh was last seen in Ramarjuna, which was his directorial debut.
