Birsa Dasgupta and Bidipta Chakraborty’s lip-lock divides the internet

As soon as Byomkesh O Durgo Rohoshyo was dropped on August 11, director Birsa Dasgupta and his wife actress Bidipta Chakraborty took a break from their hectic work schedule and went for a trip. Both the director and the actress shared multiple photos from their trip. Finally, they shared a photo of their locked lips amid a pine forest in the misty mountains. That photo has attracted a lot of attention on social media.

It is Birsa who posted the photo on social media and captioned it, “O Je Mane Na Mana.” From Oindrila Sen to Tnusree Chakraborty and many other fraternity members lauded their PDA. In fact, some wrote, Birsa Aur Bidipta Ki Prem Kahaani. 

On the other hand, some ‘moral police’ criticised them for their PDA. Someone asked, “Is this Jadavpur?” hinted at the Jadavpur University capsum. Another person wrote, “Why did you share this photo on Facebook?” A third one wrote, “Should you post such photos on social media?” However, there are many people, too, who liked the photo.

The couple, however, did not reply to any comment. Right now, Bidipta has several works in her bag. She was recently abroad for her work. Birsa’s web series on magic, The Magic of Shiri, will soon be streamed on Jio Cinema. They are presently immersed in enjoying the beauty of the mountain.
