The Dhoom actress turned a year older and celebrated the intimate birthday bash in the most amazing way in the presence of her actor husband Karan Singh Grover and the toddler daughter Devi. The cute family headed to the islands of Maldives for her 49th birthday bash.

Taking to Instagram, Basu shared a set of heartwarming pictures as she spent some quality time with family. In a carousel of pictures, the birthday girl looked mesmerizing as she posed in a white dress with a blue flower print. She completed the look with a bold red lip color and wavy hair caressing her skin. Complimenting her chic outfit, actor-husband Karan Singh looked dashing in a sheer black tee and matching pants. The duo shared their brightest smile as they celebrated the eve with the serene waters of Maldives. The beach location was adorned with balloons and red flowers spewed across the center table on the sand.

Meanwhile, some netizens took a sly dig at the birthday location after Maldives row. One fan commented,  “Please boycott Maldives. Be an informed citizen and know what’s going on in your own country.” For the uninitiated, a Maldives minister lashed at Indian citizens by using derogatory comments and hate speeches after PM Modi’s Lakshadweep trip. Soon, a wave on social media erupted where the public to Bollywood celebs like Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, and Shilpa Shetty emerged as supporters and promoted Indian tourism.
