Varun Dhawan's niece Anjini Dhawan is all set to make her acting debut with a family entertainer titled 'Binny and Family'. The film was earlier slated to release on September 20, however, the makers have now pushed the release date. The film will now clash with Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor's upcoming film 'Devara.' As the release date for Binny and Family is nearing, here's everything you need to know about the film.

The story of the film offers a sneak peek into Anjini Dhawan's character and her equation with her grandparents. The film also focuses on the generation gap and promises to deliver a heartwarming tale.

The trailer of the film showcases Anjini’s character Binny at odds with her grandfather (Pankaj Kapur). While Binny wants to live her life independently with freedom and her own choices, her life takes a massive turn when her grandparents come to her parent's home to live with them. With the restrictions and different mentalities, the story reflects a difference in the mentality between them reflecting on the generation gap.

Binny and Family Cast and Crew

The film marks the big screen debut of Varun Dhawan's niece Anjini Dhawan. She plays the lead in the film whereas Pankaj Kapur will be seen playing her grandfather, and Himani Shivpuri will play her grandmother. Rajesh Kumar, on the other hand, will play Anjini's father in the film. 

The film is written and directed by Ssanjay Tripaathy. It is backed by Ektaa R Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms, Mahaveer Jain Films, and Waveband Productions, along with Shashank Khaitan and Mrighdeep Lamba. 

Binny and Family Release date and OTT platform

Anjini Dhawan is the daughter of TV actor Siddharth Dhawan and granddaughter of Anil Dhawan. Her debut film 'Binny and Family' will be released in theatres on September 27. The film is set to entertain audiences in theatres before making its way to the digital platform.
