BIGHIT MUSIC provides clarity on BTS' V, RM, Jimin, and Jungkook's military enlistment; ARMY get emotional

While it was already known that the remaining four members of BTS - RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook are slated to begin their military service in December, the new news from their agency BIGHIT MUSIC has got ARMY more emotional. With fans coming up with various scenarios about the member's enlistment, their music agency has provided clarification. 

The statement confirmed that Jungkook and Jimin will enlist together under the "buddy system" which means they will undergo the process together in the same camp.

In contrast, RM and V, who were initially rumoured to join simultaneously, will proceed with the enlistment process individually. The agency also stated that there would not be an official ceremony for their enlistment. 

"Hello. This is BIGHIT MUSIC. Thank you for your continued love and support for BTS. We would like to update you on RM, Jimin, V and Jung Kook’s upcoming enlistment into the military.

RM, Jimin, V and Jung Kook will fulfil their required time with the military by enlisting in the army. RM and V will be enlisting according to their respective procedures, while Jimin and Jung Kook are scheduled to enlist together. Please note that there will be no official event on the day of their entry."

The agency provided clarification and urged fans to refrain from gathering near the enlistment camp. Emphasizing that the area is exclusively reserved for family members and military personnel attendance, the agency aims to ensure a smooth and controlled process.

"The entrance ceremony is a time to be observed by military personnel and their families only. To prevent any issues that might occur from crowding, fans are advised to refrain from visiting the site. Please convey your warm regards and encouragement in your hearts only"

On a final note, the label supporting BTS advises fans to steer clear of any schemes offering trips or packages under individual members' names or intellectual property, emphasizing the potential risks associated with such offerings. 

"We caution against being negatively impacted by buying unauthorized tours or product packages that unlawfully use the artist's intellectual property. Our company will take legal action against any unauthorized commercial activities involving such IP. We appreciate your ongoing love and support for RM, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook throughout their military service. Our company remains committed to offering comprehensive support during this period."

As the day arrives for all members to enter the military, ARMY have taken to their respective platforms to share overwhelming emotions.

The fandom is filled with joy as the youngest members enlist together, expressing pride in Taehyung's special force enlistment and curiosity about RM's role. The anticipation for Jin's return from military service is palpable among fans.
