Bigg Boss Ultimate: Balaji Murugadoss emerges as the title winner of the much-hyped show

The first OTT version of Bigg Boss Tamil ended on a high note with viewers enjoying several intriguing and suspense-filled moments in the house. Silambarasan, the host of the show, himself entered the house before the announcement of the winner, leaving contestants and viewers surprised.

He asked the remaining four of them, Balaji, Niroop, Ramya and Thamarai, as to who among them has chances of winning the title, and a confident Thamarai said she is likely to be the winner. He appreciated everyone for their performances, advised them not to take the result personally and wished them success.

Ramya Pandian and Thamarai were adjudged as the third runner-up and second runner-up respectively, leaving the audience excited as the final was between Balaji and Niroop. The duo had indifferences many times in the house and they were on the verge of indulging in physical fights a few times.

The audience has been waiting with bated breath to know who among the two would be chosen as the title winner. After a few suspense-filled dramas, Silambarasan announced Bala as the winner. The latter became emotional and thanked his fans and other audience for the huge number of votes he has gained from them.

Bala was presented with the trophy and a prize money of Rs 20 lakhs. Many pointed out that it was his positive attitude, focused mind and determination which helped him clinch the title. The grand finale was attended by the winners of previous seasons of Bigg Boss Tamil like Raju Jeyamohan, Riythvika, Aari and Mugen Rao. A few former contestants of the show displayed dance performances to entertain the viewers.  

Fans of Balaji took to social media to express happiness on their favourite star's achievement. Many of them commented that this was expected as he deserved it completely. A few of them, however, expressed disappointment of Julie's eviction which happened last week and said that she should have been in the house till the end.
