Chandrika Dixit, aka Delhi's Vada Pav Girl, became an overnight sensation on social media. This was after a food blogger posted a video of her serving street food in Sainik Vihar, Delhi. Her popularity was amplified after several food bloggers posted her clips on social media. The last few months have been tough for Chandrika as she got embroiled in several controversies. As of now, she is a Bigg Boss OTT 3 contestant. In an exclusive chat with OTTplay, Chandrika, aka Vada Pav Girl, spoke about dealing with controversies, doing the reality show, and more.
When OTTplay asked Chandrika Dixit the reason she chose to do Bigg Boss OTT 3, she said, "My family took the decision aur bohot soch samajh ke liya hain." On being asked if she had apprehensions about doing the reality show because of its controversial nature, the Delhi Vada Pav Girl said no.
It is because Chandrika feels she has become habituated to dealing with controversies because of whatever has happened to her in the recent past. However, Dixit admitted she will miss her husband and child while she is in the Bigg Boss OTT 3 house.
The Delhi Vada Pav Girl further mentioned that controversies cannot be created. "People feel controversies can be created but such things automatically happen," she said, responding to the question about creating a controversy on BB OTT 3, if given a chance. Finally, she spoke about how she would deal with conflicts on the show. "Pichle 8-9 months mein, I have learned how to handle everything and myself. So, it won't be difficult for me (to handle them)," she added.
Earlier this year, in March, Chandrika's video in which she was crying went viral on social media. In the video, she claimed that she was under pressure from the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) to remove her food cart. Dixit also alleged that she paid Rs 35,000 to the officials but they continued to demand money from her.
