With the much-awaited ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’ to be premiered in just a few hours from now, the wait to witness the second season of the reality show is almost coming to an end. As you may know, this season has been touted as a season of many firsts and also many surprises. As for the many firsts, let us tell you that, one of the firsts is in the form of Salman Khan, who will be seen hosting the OTT format of ‘Bigg Boss’. Readers may recall that, last year, it was the film maker Karan Johar who had hosted the ‘Bigg Boss OTT’. And for the many surprises, what we can tell you is that, this year, one will get to see the audience being in a position to steer away their decisions and have their say in the contestants’ daily tasks, ration etc…
As for the names of the contestants, like every year, this year too, the show’s makers continue the ‘legacy’ of building up suspense till the last minute in order to announce the names. But, amongst the many names who will be seen inside the Bigg Boss OTT 2 house, one is the actress-turned-film-maker Pooja Bhatt, as per OTTplay's reliable sources.
Looking back, it was in the year 1989 when a bright young spunky actress Pooja Bhatt made her Bollywood debut with the film ‘Daddy’. The film, which was spearheaded by the extremely versatile Anupam Kher in the titular role, saw Pooja Bhatt playing his daughter. This role garnered immense appreciation for Pooja Bhatt. This was followed by an array of hit films in the form of ‘Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin’ (with Aamir Khan), ‘Sadak’ (with Sanjay Dutt), ‘Junoon’ (with Rahul Roy and Avinash Wadhavan), ‘Phir Teri Kahani Yaad Aayee’ (with Rahul Roy), ‘Chaahat’ (with Shah Rukh Khan) and many others.
After acting in films, the versatile Pooja Bhatt turned to film making. Films like ‘Paap’, ‘Rog’, ‘Holiday’ etc… are a few of the film which Pooja had directed. She was recently seen in the much-talked about Netflix show ‘Bombay Begums’ and also the film ‘Chup: Revenge of The Artist’. On a personal front, Pooja Bhatt had got married to Munish Makhija in the year 2003. After about 11 years of marriage, both of them parted ways in 2014.
What is ironical is that, in a career spanning many years, even though Pooja Bhatt has worked with Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan, she has never worked with the Bigg Boss OTT 2’s host Salam Khan in any of his films. It will be really nice to see her interacting with Salman Khan inside the ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’ house!
