Bigg Boss OTT 2 Day 9 Highlights: Jiya Shankar finds solace in Jad Hadid after nominations

We have reached Day Nine of Bigg Boss OTT Season 2. The candidates after Weekend Ka Vaar are resting and reflecting on the night's events, both positive and negative.

The first team-on-team challenge of the year has been announced. Now that Falaq's tenure as captain is over, it's time for an exciting matchup. Teams are formed, with Jiya, Abhi, Akanksha, Jad, and Aliyaa making up Team White and Pooja, Cyrus, Avinash, Manisha, Bebika, and Falaq making up Team Black. Making sock puppets is the assignment at hand.

The stakes are high, as the winning team will be given special treatment, such as better food and a break from duties. Each team's manager is responsible for inspecting and approving the other team's toys.

After the work is complete, Manisha and Jiya joke about the toys that the other team's boss didn't want. Jiya, Abhi, Akanksha, Jad, and Aliyaa on Team White triumphed in the competition.

Everyone starts to relax and enjoy themselves once they've spent some time in the bedroom together. Kissing and relationships are topics of discourse between Manisha and Jad. After offering Manisha a French kiss, Jad adds that he must take her to Dubai with him because having a child is a "huge deal" between a man and a woman. Manisha and Jad finally embrace after some more playful back-and-forth.

Bigg Boss tells the contestants to nominate someone by clicking a button, and then he writes down the names of everyone who does so. Bebika is Abhishek and Jiya's first pick. Pooja, Falaq, Bebika, and Avinash propose Aaliya. The actor from Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahi tells Aaliya she shouldn't appear like a victim after her divorce from Nawazzudin Siddiqui.

Manisha, Avinash, and Bebika all vote for Jiya, whereas Jad and Manisha are the only ones without a single nomination. Aaliya and Jiya were chosen as this week's nominees after the nomination process.

An enormous quarrel breaks out between Avinash and Jiya during the nomination session. The TV star's rude comments have an impact on the latter. Not long after that, Jiya begins to feel nervous and experiences a panic attack. To leave the nomination room, she politely requests permission from Bigg Boss. She continues to cry for a long time, even after being outside in the fresh air.

The nominations have devastated Jiya, and she confides in her friend Jad about how Avinash has betrayed her. Avinash's remark that Jiya treats her friendships and relationships as if they don't matter to her hurts her. Jia tells Jad how she feels about his treachery, bringing up the years of friendship and deep conversations they had together. I feel so inept because I'm not even a friend in his eyes. "I just don't get people," Jiya admits.

However, after a cute little fight, Manisha and Bebika make up, and the Bihari social media star starts to cry as she says she wants an unshakable marriage because her parents broke up when she was young.
