Bigg Boss OTT 2 Day 8 highlights: Palak Purswani gets eliminated, Akanksha Puri ends her jail term

Yesterday's ‘Weekend Kaa Waar’ started off with Salman Khan reminding Avinash about him shouting at Bebika about raking up his past. At the same time, Salman Khan said that he and Palak always are found talking about their past to the other contestants. Then, Salman Khan asks Jia the reason why she had blocked Palak’s number and also why she felt that she will be at loggerheads with her. Amidst all this, Salman Khan catches Cyrus Broacha taking a quick nap!

Jia then reveals the story behind her blocking Palak’s number because of social media tagging. That’s when Palak chips in saying that, ‘thoda misunderstanding ho gaya tha’. Then, Salman Khan asks Jia about Pooja Bhatt. To which, she said, “I feel pooja is very knowledgeable and at the same time, but, at the same time, I also found her very dominating”. And when Salman asks about the ones who get scared of Pooja Bhatt, only Jiya and Palak raised their hands. Post that, Salman Khan tells Jiya to get her opinions cleared about Falak as well.

Bebika felt that Falak is not a good captain, because of her biased nature towards certain people like Cyrus. She also added that she lacks the authoritativeness, which is the utmost quality in a captain. Amidst all this, Salman Khan reminded Bebika that since it’s her birthday, he gets a cake for the birthday girl. As a task, Bebika is made to feed the contestants a piece of cake and tell that contestant that one quality that she thinks they need to change in their life.

One by one, Bebika starts calling out every contestant’s quality that needs a to be changed. After that, Salman tells bebika to do an introspection about her own self. Thereafter comes Krushna Abhishek dressed up as ‘Pinky Promise’. He, yet again, proves that why is the apt choice to provide non-stop entertainment.

Salman Khan then, trains his eyes towards Abhishek aka ‘Fukraa Insaan’ and tells him to explain the meaning of Cancer culture on social media. To which, Abhishek said that, when everyone boycotts a particular person on social media. As a task, Salman Khan tells the contestants to apply foam on that person whom they feel should be boycotted. Many of the contestants felt that Bebika should be boycotted on social media.

Then comes Rakul Preet Singh in order to promote her film ‘I Love You’. And, as a part of the film’s promotions, Rakul gets the contestants involved in a game involving red heart and black heart. While the red heart will be given to the ones who have formed a place in the heart, and the black heart is for those who are yet to form a place in the heart.

Then comes the moment of truth- the elimination. Between the contestants who have been nominated for this week, the one who ultimately got eliminated is Palak Purswani. At the same time, Bigg Boss makes a deal with Akanksha to nullify her jail term, which she readily accepts. That’s why, Bigg Boss ends the tenure of her jail.
