Bigg Boss OTT 2: Being an actor, I get to know from miles away if somebody is acting as per a script or not, says Had Jadid | EXCLUSIVE

This year’s ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ show is all about shocks and surprises. Thanks to a cross section of people who will be forming the contestants for this year, ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’ is definitely one of the most-watched shows of the recent times. This year also sees the international model cum actor Jad Hadid as one of the contestants inside the ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2 house’.

OTTplay caught up with the model cum actor Jad Hadid for an exclusive interview before he entered the show. Here are the excerpts:

Hi Had Jadid! Since it’s your first reality show, I assume there must be butterflies in your stomach!
Butterflies? To tell you the truth… There are lots of butterflies all over the place! (laughs)

What does your participation in ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’ mean to you?
For me, it means shifting from one thing to the other. I have never done anything of this sort before. It’s definitely exciting for me. The audience in India is massive. I hope to win everybody’s hearts. And I will try my best to provide the best entertainment. The actual trophy to me is people’s love and hearts. I am not looking to win the trophy, but I am looking to win everyone’s hearts.

Are you carrying any good luck charm with you inside the house?
I am carrying my daughter’s photograph. That’s the only good luck charm I need.

Have you followed the first season of ‘Bigg Boss OTT’?
I was able to see only a few episodes of ‘Bigg Boss OTT’, as I was busy shooting for a film.

Did you ever manifest or imagine yourself to be a part of the ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ show in its second season itself?
I had watched bits and pieces of Abdu Rozik’s season. But I never thought of being a part of a show as huge as ‘Bigg Boss OTT’.

What kind of preparations / homework have you done before entering the show?
I have some thoughts and ideas which I will be sharing with others. I will be as real and spontaneous as I am always.

What will be your strategy to avoid ‘Bigg Boss OTT’s eliminations?
I just want to make friends and I believe in sticking to the plan.

Many say that ‘Bigg Boss’ is scripted. What’s your take on that?
I don’t think so. The reason I am saying so is because I am an actor. And, that is the reason why I get to know from miles away if somebody is acting as per a scripted way or not. The show is just not scripted.

Is there any specific celebrity whom you would want to like to see inside the ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’ house?
Oh yes! The one celebrity whom I would want to see inside the ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’s house is one of my good friends. His name is Saad Lamjarred. He is a Moroccan singer.

What are the things that you are planning to carry inside the Bigg Boss OTT 2 house?
My gym outfits and my daughter’s photograph! They are extremely important to me. I listen to music a lot. But we are not allowed to take any musical instruments when inside the house. So, I will simply stick to My gym outfits and my daughter’s photograph.

Who do you think makes for a better host for ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’? Salman Khan or Karan Johar?
I have seen Salman Khan’ hosting. He does a great job at that.

What, in your opinion, are the qualities that you have that will make you a winner?
I am totally myself and I am a spontaneous guy. I am trustworthy and honest.

The show ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ is all about love, romance and also flying tempers and flaring egos. Besides being lovable, are you short tempered?
When I get nervous or angry, I become quiet! Well... that’s how I am!

Since you spoke about Abdu, was there any advice that Abdu Rozik gave you before entering the show?
He just told me to be real and be myself. And, let me tell you that is what I am and I will be!
