Bigg Boss OTT 2 Grand Finale August 14, 2023 Written Update: Elvish Yadav lifts the trophy on Salman Khan's show

Bigg Boss OTT 2 has come to an end after nearly two months. The show was different this time around since its announcement. Salman Khan replaced Karan Johar as the host and more YouTubers were introduced to the show than any other.

From Lord Puneet being thrown out of the Bigg Boss OTT 2 house to protests for the same, Bigg Boss OTT 2 started on a crazy note. Just as things calmed down, entered Elvish Yadav as a wild card contestant. Known for his roast videos on YouTube, Elvish came with one single purpose - to irk as many contestants as possible to take some action. Before anybody knew it, this wild card contestant became a finalist and is a potential winner. If Elvish does win, he would re-write Bigg Boss history, for no wild card contestant who has entered the show ever became a winner.

YouTubers Abhishek Malhan and Manisha Rani bonded since the start of the show and have remained strong since. They are a part of the other group with Elvish, which, according to trends, is the most loved. They are likely to be among top three.

Cyrus Broacha, who also had a great start, unfortunately, had to exit the show due to medical conditions. Owing to his breakdown on the show, he never returned. Dubai-based Jad Hadid too reached a breaking point and was out of the race just before grand finale was about to begin. They were a part of the other group, which is now limited to Pooja Bhatt and Bebika Dhurve. Jiya Shankar was the last contestant from the group to leave the show.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Abhishek Malhan, who was a strong contender to Elvish, might be out of the race too. He had to give the grand finale a miss due to a medical emergency. Abhishek's sister made the revelation on social media.

Abhishek and Elvish live their final moments in the house. Salman praises Manisha, Abhishek and Elvish's group of trio. There's a performance dedicated to their bond.

The moment of truth is here. Salman holds Abhishek and Elvish's hands to make the announcement. The host announces both the names, only to ask them questions. Elvish is the winner of the show. He shares the trophy with both Abhishek and Manisha. Salman also poses with them.

Salman talks about the next evictions. The fathers of the finalists are called for the same. Manisha jokes with Elvish about how her father is happy to be standing next to Salman. Manisha, Abhishek and Elvish are safe and in top 3. Bebika is evicted.

The ex-contestants all find Elvish a winner. Soon, Salman and Elnaaz Nourozi groove to Billi Billi, while she promotes her upcoming show on Bigg Boss OTT 2.

Salman then introduces the twist. He announces that the voting lines will open again. They were closed before his announcement.

The host remembers Sooraj Barjatya and his bond through Prem as he introduces the film, Dono, starring Sooraj's son. Soon, Ayushmann Khurrana also promotes Dream Girl 2 on the show. Ananya Panday joins them too. Krushna Abhishek returns as Dharmendra this time. He calls Avinash the 'personal daakiya' of Bigg Boss.

Ayushmann will evict the next contestant from the race. The trio enter the activity area and go to the phone booth. The contestants have to tell them their highlights from the journey. Ananya talks to Elvish while Ayushmann calls Manisha. Ananya then calls Abhishek. After a countdown, they announce that Elvish and Abhishek are safe. Thus, Manisha is out of the race. She is happy and excited as she dances with him in front of Salman Khan.

Manisha goes and sits in between Falaq and Avinash. Salman then teases all three. Avinash and Falaq's performance is here. Avinash has a sarcastic take on emotional atyachaar with Palak Purswani and Jiya Shankar.

Avinash and Falaq have a moment. She blushes and Salman teases them as soon as he sees it.

Salman says Bebika and Pooja have ruled in the house. Soon, their performances are introduced. The two groove to Sridevi's Hawa Hawaii and Aga Bai.

Salman tells Pooja Bhatt that the season will be known as hers alone. He says she made his job much easier, to the extent that he wishes she were a part of all of the seasons.

Pooja Bhatt is the first evicted contestant of the night. She hopes that Bebika wins but feels Elvish or Abhishek could be the winner.

Abhishek returns. Manisha and Elvish go to bring him back to the show. With that, Badshah is back.

Krushna Abhishek also enters the show as a drunk man. He jokes about every ex-contestant on the show and goes on to flirt with Pooja.

Instead of Salman Khan, the former contestants Aaliya Siddiqui, Falaq Naaz, Akanksha Puri, Avinash Sachdev, Aashika Bhatia, Palak Purswani, Cyrus Broacha, Jad Hadid and Jiya Shankar are seen as the Bigg Boss OTT 2 grand finale commences. Mahesh Bhatt joins them.

After Salman comes back to the stage, he talks about Bigg Boss OTT 2 breaking records, just as he reveals the trophy. The host reveals Bigg Boss OTT 2 is the number one show on OTT too. Salman then hints about the host changing the next season.

Avinash and Jiya reveal that they didn't talk to one another after getting out of the show. Jiya then talks about Avinash-Falaq's romance.

The host reveals that Abhishek Malhan is unwell and is under doctor's supervision at this point of time. He then introduces Badshah and Pooja Bhatt is the first performer. Elvish Yadav goes next, followed by Bebika Dhurve and Manisha Rani. Since Abhishek is missing in action, his previous clips are played for the viewers.

Badshah then joins the contestants for a group performance, after which he meets them. He asks Manisha to take it slow with Elvish and she jokes that is why she doesn't have his chumma yet.

The contestants get a video message from their loved ones. Vikram Bhatt, Soni Razdan and Deepak Tijori also share a message for Pooja.

Salman praises all the finalists and reveals that Abhishek will join them soon. Bebika gets emotional as Salman approaches her.

The host jokes that the families did not make it to the finale. Elvish almost has tears in his eyes. Salman then introduces Mahesh Bhatt. He says Alia Bhatt wants to stay outside the house to give Pooja a hug. Shaheen Bhatt wanted to do the same. On hearing him, Pooja cries.

Manisha then jokes with his father and asks him to talk to Salman. Elvish's mother finally comes to the show. Bebika talks to Abhishek's parents and Salman jokes about Bebika being their bahu.
