Bigg Boss Non-Stop: Nagarjuna starts shooting for launch episode before grand premiere

Nagarjuna is gearing up to take on the mantle of Bigg Boss Telugu yet again, this time for its digital spin-off version. The star has started to shoot for the upcoming launch episode of Bigg Boss Non-Stop, ahead of the show’s premiere this weekend.

According to a report in the Times of India, the star has started filming for the first episode of the show as well as sequences involving his interactions with the contestants, who will make their way into the Bigg Boss house. The introductory sequences of the contestants as well as some of their ‘special’ performances have already been filmed.

The upcoming digital version of Bigg Boss Telugu will reportedly run for 12 weeks, and will be livestreamed 24/7. It is expected to involve 18 contestants in its first season, and Nagarjuna will appear as host during the show’s weekend episodes to interact with them.

Ahead of the show’s grand launch, a short promo video was unveiled today, giving viewers a glimpse into the colourful house and some stunning performances that will kick off the show. Host Nagaruna also makes an appearance in the clip.

The actor had previously stated how he had doubts when he was asked to resume hosting for the popular reality show’s OTT version. The makers insisted that the upcoming show is going to be in a completely different format, and it had spurred the star on to take up the ‘new challenge’. He said that the makers also mentioned that the original Bigg Boss Telugu finale had raked in almost five crore viewers.

Bigg Boss Non-Stop will be available to stream on Disney+Hotstar from February 26.
