Bigg Boss Malayalam 5: When and where to watch the latest season of the Mohanlal hosted reality show

Bigg Boss Malayalam is back for yet another exciting, entertainingly chaotic season. The fifth and latest fiery season of the popular reality show made its way onto the silver screen recently. Here’s all you need to know.

Who are the contestants on the latest season of Bigg Boss Malayalam?

The new season of Bigg Boss Malayalam welcomed 18 contestants into the house. The contestants this time included actors, content creators and influencers, artists, models, filmmakers, and more. For the first time ever, a member of the general public was also chosen to be a contestant in the house, through a contest, called the Bigg Boss Common man contest, organised by one of the sponsors of the reality show. Gopika was declared the winner of the contest and the representative of the public, and entered the house with the rest of the contestants.

The contestants this season are Sree Devi, Maneesha, Aniyan Midhun, Junaiz VP, Sruthi Lakshmi, Anjuz Rosh, Nadira Mehrin, Sobha Viswanath, Cerena Ann Johnson, Lachu Gram(Aishwarya Suresh), Vishnu Joshi, Angeline Mariya, Rinosh George, Akhil Marar, and Shiju AR.

Mohanlal returned as the host of the latest season of the reality show, making it his fifth time hosting. The current season of the series is filmed at Film City, in Mumbai, just like the previous season.

Dilsha Prasannan took home the trophy last year. Sabumon Abdusamad and Manikuttan are the previous winners.

When and where to watch Bigg Boss Malayalam season 5?

Bigg Boss Malayalam season 5 premiered on March 26, Sunday, at 7 PM. The show airs on Asianet and is available for streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. On the latter, the show can be streamed 24/7. New episodes will air at 9:30 PM from Monday to Friday. On the weekends, new episodes will air at 9 PM. Mohanlal will host the weekend episodes.
