Bigg Boss Malayalam 5 promo: Mohanlal pulls Maneesha’s leg on her ‘memory loss’ comment, watch

Bigg Boss has certainly earned its place as one of the most beloved reality shows on TV today. One of the biggest reasons for it is definitely the amazing hosting job done by Mohanlal. The megastar, who has retained his title as the show’s host for all of its 5 seasons, continues to win hearts of audiences and housemates alike with his charm and charisma, and witty banter with the contestants. Mohanlal shows off his wit and charm in the upcoming episode as well, having some fun pulling Maneesha’s leg.

In the new promo, Mohanlal is heard talking to Maneesha about the Velliyamkallu task, where the contestants were divided into three different teams and were asked to collect ‘gems’. When the host asked if Maneesha had heard of the word before, the latter is seen racking her brain trying to remember where she heard it. Mohanlal gently reminds her that writer M Mukundan had written a novel of the same name.

Maneesha then sheepishly reveals that she has a problem with remembering things, and Mohanlal cheekily asks if that problem started after she came into the house. The contestant then says that at one point, she had even forgotten her own name. This makes the host quip “The next time I stand here, will you ask me who I am?”, making Maneesha burst out in laughter.

The previous episode saw the housemates celebrate Vishu with Mohanlal, who graced the house to celebrate the festival with them. In addition to receiving Kayyneettam from the host, the contestants also received heartfelt video messages from their family.
