Bigg Boss Malayalam 5 promo: Akhil and Nadira lock horns in the first ever captaincy task of the season

Bigg Boss Malayalam came back to the silver screen this week with yet another fiery new season, featuring a number of fresh faces from across different fields. The supreme made sure that the competition went on in full swing, with the contestants being hit with task after task in their very first week. Recently, the housemates battled it out amongst themselves to qualify for captaincy, and Akhil and Nadira emerged as winners of the same. But the duo’s ordeal was far from over, as the two strong contenders had to go head to head to bag the crown of the first ever captain of Bigg Boss Malayalam season 5.

A new promo for the upcoming episode shows how the task involved the two contenders standing on rotating discs, while Bigg Boss gives the rest of the housemates instructions to throw balls at the contestants whom they do not want to see as captain. Naturally, chaos breaks out, as Akhil and Nadira are seen struggling to balance themselves, while defending a hurl of balls. Tempers flare too, as Akhil and Reneesha are heard raising their voices.

The previous episode of the show saw the contestants play a number of chaotic and colourful carnival like games for availing items in a luxury budget. Midhun, Junaiz and Gopika obtained points and each was given 30 seconds to pick out items based on their points. Gopika was unable to grab any.
