Bigg Boss Kannada Season 9: Rakesh Adiga, Roopesh Shetty & more - meet the finalists

After 13 weeks of an intense tussle, six deserving contestants have entered the finale week in Bigg Boss Kannada Season 9. The most recent Super Sunday episode saw Arun Sagar and Amulya Gowda exiting the competition in a special double-elimination episode with the former's eviction, more than anything else, coming as a huge shock to both his housemates and the viewers outside.

The six contestants to enter the Bigg Boss Kannada Season 9 finale are Roopesh Shetty, Rakesh Adiga, Deepika Das, Divya Uruduga, Aryavardhan, and Rupesh Rajanna. And according to reports and social media speculations, Roopesh and Rakesh are heading the voting polls and by the looks of it, the two are most favoured at the moment to win the competition.

Both Roopesh Shetty and Rakesh Adiga have been the frontrunners since the beginning of the ninth season, with the former boasting an edge over the other in terms of votes. However, their path to glory will be rigged with challenges and one such will be posed by Divya Uruduga who, having returned to the show as a veteran, has every chance of lifting the trophy. On the other hand, Rupesh Rajanna has made stellar progress in the show and has evaded elimination week after week to find a place in the finale. 

Arun Sagar, while speaking to Sudeep after his elimination, opined that Rupesh Rajanna and Rakesh Adiga will and must finish as the top two - he reckoned that while Rupesh Rajanna has the right attitude and acumen to win the competition, Rakesh Adiga is the most honest contender of the lot. In the same vein, he added that Roopesh Shetty is over-smart in his approach.

The finale will be a two-episode affair taking place on Friday and Saturday, December 30 and 31, at 7:30 p.m. The finale week will also feature a mid-week elimination which would mean that only 5 contestants will make it to the last two episodes.
