Bigg Boss Kannada Season 9: Here’s who will be heading into the house tonight

The moment that fans of the popular reality show Bigg Boss Kannada have been waiting for will be here later this evening. The much-awaited ninth season of Bigg Boss Kannada will kick off with a grand premiere. This time around, the mix of contestants includes seasoned veterans and a bunch of newbies. Social media has been abuzz with theories about who will head into the house and here’s what we think it will look like.

Earlier on, Sudeep had said that there would be 18 contestants in the house – split evenly between seniors and juniors. The senior team would comprise the top four contestants of the recently-concluded OTT season, namely Roopesh Shetty, Rakesh Adiga, Sanya Iyer and Aryavardhan. Joining them would be Season 8 favourite Divya Uruduga and her fellow housemate Prashant Sambargi, Season 7’s Deepika Das, and Season 5’s Anupama Gowda and Season 1’s Arun Sagar.

The newbies this time, we are told are actors Neha Ramakrishna, Mayuri Kyatari, Darsh Chandrapa, Ramola, Amulya Gowda, Kavyashree Gowda and bike racers Aishwarya Pissay and Sandesh Prasannakumar.

While the first-ever Bigg Boss Kannada OTT season wound up only a week ago, the top four contestants were not allowed to return home for a quick refresher and were, instead, moved to a resort in the vicinity of the Innovative Film City, where the Bigg Boss Kannada set is located. This, we are told, was to ensure that the contestants are not made aware of what the perception of each of them is among audiences, so that they do not change their game strategy. The rest of the seniors are also familiar with how things work in the house, so, it is believed that they may have an upper hand over the juniors, at least in the initial weeks.

Bigg Boss Kannada Season 9 will be of 100-day duration, with daily episodes on Colors Kannada and Voot Select and weekend episodes with host Sudeep, which will include the eliminations.
