Bigg Boss Kannada OTT: Roopesh Shetty joins Aryavardhan; to head to Bigg Boss Kannada 9 season

The Bigg Kannada OTT finale is on. At the very start of the six week OTT season it had been announced that there would not be one winner, but multiple winners, who will then head into the new season of the TV show that will be telecast on Colors Kannada. Later on, it was confirmed that four contestants would get direct entry into Bigg Boss Kannada Season 9, which, incidentally, will have a total of 18 contestants, nine of who will be contestants who have been in the house earlier. It remains to be seen if these nine will include the four from Bigg Boss Kannada OTT Season 1 or if all nine will be from the eight earlier TV seasons.

Earlier today, Aryavardhan Guruji was announced as the first of the Bigg Boss Kannada OTT Season 1 finalists to head to Bigg Boss Kannada 9. Joining him is Roopesh Shetty, popular Kannada/Tulu Radio Jockey/actor. The 31-year-old Roopesh began his career as a YouTuber before venturing into RJing and soon after found himself acting in Tulu and Kannada films. Some of Roopesh's most popular credits include the lead role in the 2019 film Girgit (which he wrote and co-directed) and the recent Kannada film Govinda Govinda wherein he played the role of Srinivas.

In the last few weeks, Roopesh became one of the most popular contestants along with Rakesh Adiga, and if the buzz on social media is anything to go by, he was expected to definitely be one of the four heading to the TV season. With only two spots remaining, the question now is whether it wll be Rakesh Adiga and Roopesh’s best friend Sanya Iyer. There is, of course, also the possibility of popular TV host Somanna Machimada or social media influencer Sonu Srinivas Gowda managing an upset and getting into the TV show.
