The maiden edition of Bigg Boss Kannada OTT has seen a fitting end as four contestants emerge victorious. Although the format of the OTT or digital version isn't the same as the previous eight seasons (aired on television), the value of the audience's vote remained the same and this time around too, the viewers have ajudged the based on several parameters.
The four winners of Bigg Boss Kannada OTT are Rakesh Adiga, Saanya Iyer, Roopesh Shetty, and Aryavardhan Guruji. While Rakesh Adiga and Roopesh Shetty seemed the obvious picks, Saanya Iyer and Aryavardhan Guruji had to tussle it out to find their berths in the top 4.
For the unversed, the top four contestants of Bigg Boss Kannada OTT will move on to the bigger format of Bigg Boss which will l with Season 9 on September 24. Among the 4, Aryavardhan Guruji was the first one to make his way into Season 9 and the popular social media personality expressed deep gratitude to the audience for the opportunity. Soon after, host Kiccha Sudeep revealed that Mangaluru boy and the crowd-favourite Roopesh Shetty has earned a spot in the upcoming television season of Bigg Boss Kannada. Roopesh has remained one of the frontrunners all along and his entry into the bigger league shouldn't come as a surprise to many.
And finally, Roopesh's close friend and TV actress Saanya Iyer was announced as the fourth and final contestant to move on to the next big stage. The announcement of the same came amid tremendous fanfare and tension with Somanna Machimada and Sonu Gowda still remaining in contention along with Saanya - a teary-eyed Somanna bid adieu to the Bigg Boss and spoke to Sudeep about his journey soon after.
With 8 contestants heading to the finale, 4 of them were meant to exit the show based on the audience's votes. Jayshree Aradhya, who can be deemed as a surprise entrant to the finale, was the first one to exit and was soon followed by Jashwanth Bopanna, Somanna Machimada, and Sonu Gowda.
