Bigg Boss Kannada OTT: Fan favourite Rakesh Adiga’s perfect impersonation of Sonu Srinivas Gowda has audience in splits

From the very first day of Bigg Boss Kannada OTT debut season, actor-filmmaker Rakesh Adiga has been a fan favourite. Interestingly enough, unlike many of the other actor contestants, Rakesh did not enter the house with a massive fan base. He has, however, been amassing it steadily with his performance on the show. “More power to #RakeshAdiga . We know he’s going to go to season 9 and he will win it also. Roopesh and all have already a fan base but the person who establishes fan base during his big boss stay always wins,” wrote one user, citing the example of previous winner Pratham. Another added, “Became fan of Rakesh adiga today..but I wanted to see old Rakesh agida once..this new Rakesh adiga will make you fall in love.”

Rakesh, of course, has been playing to the gallery perfectly. Barring his leadership skills, fans have loved everything he says and does in the house. Turns out, among the many things that he can do, he does perfect impersonations of others. During a recent task, Rakesh had to impersonate any one co-contestant, for which he chose to do his version of Sonu Srinivas Gowda. Netizens have been in splits at how perfectly he copied Sonu. “Rakesh Adiga, what a bundle of talent. Mimicry of Sonu Gowda was 100% accurate,” wrote a fan.

Meanwhile, Sonu, whose inclusion as a contestant on the show was not a widely welcome move, had managed to survive the first week elimination, but the social media influencer’s behaviour in the house is not getting her any new fans, it would seem. If the posts on social media are anything to go by, not only are audiences irked by how she talks and behaves with other contestants, but also for the lack of respect while speaking to host Kiccha Sudeep. “Her attitude during today's episode is going to create a permanent negative impact on #sonusrinivasgowda 's personality. Unless she changes herself & gets into Good books of #KicchaSudeeep her trolling is going to get from bad to worse,” was a post after the weekend episode.
