Bigg Boss Kannada 9: Mayuri Kyatari eliminated in Week 4 of reality show

At the end of Week 4 on Bigg Boss Kannada Season 9, it was time for yet another elimination. However, with host Kiccha Sudeep unavailable to conduct the elimination process and the weekend darbar, it was expected that the showrunners would skip it and instead have a double eviction next week. Sudeep is currently in Australia to watch the T20 World Cup.

This week, Aryavardhan, Divya Uruduga, Roopesh Shetty, Mayuri Kyatari, Prashanth Sambargi, Kavya Shree, Sanya Iyer, and Neha Gowda had been nominated. And contrary to rumours, the showrunners went ahead with an elimination and did it in a special arrangement. Neha Gowda and Mayuri Kyatari, both of who were nominated for elimination, were asked to ride pillion on two different bikes. By the end of the segment, the one bearing Mayuri rode out of the set, indicating that she had been eliminated.

In recent days, there was a strong buzz that the actress could be the next contestant to leave the show, as she has been finding it difficult managing on the show. Mayuri has a one year old son, whom she had left with family to be on the show and while she thought she was strong enough to bear this temporary separation, there were several instances when she could not take it and broke into tears. In fact, a week ago, when Darsh was eliminated, the actress told host Kiccha Sudeep that she expected her name to be read out instead. Fans have taken to social media expressing that although Mayuri would pull herself together to participate in the tasks, she was too emotional. They felt that it was better that she leave the show on her own accord. The voting verdict, eventually, was also not in favour of the Ashwini Nakshatra actress and she is now back with her Starboi, Aarav.
