It is not uncommon for male and female contestants of reality shows to strike up friendships and, in some cases, take that relationship to another level, especially after spending weeks on weeks together. In the case of Bigg Boss Kannada, for instance, there have been rumored hookups galore during the show, many of which did not last outside the Bigg Boss House.
One of Bigg Boss Kannada 11’s ‘couples’ was Trivikram and Bhavya Gowda, with the former supposedly declaring his affection for her when he said “love you” on camera. With the show drawing to a close on January 26 and Trivikram emerging as runner-up, he’s finally available to the media to clarify if he and Bhavya are indeed a couple.
Trivikram: Bhavya is only a friend
Well, turns out, that as soon as they stepped out of the Bigg Boss Kannada house, Trivikram friend-zoned Bhavya. Speaking to multiple news channels, all of whom wanted to know what exactly the status of his relationship with Bhavya is, the actor clarified that he’s seen her only as a friend and that the nature of a show like Bigg Boss Kannada is such that gender does not come into play in picking pals. She was and remains a friend like any other contestant, he said, also highlighting their 5-year age difference.
Trivikram and Bhavya join a long list of almost couples from Bigg Boss Kannada, like, for instance, J Karthik and Shruthi Prakash, Roopesh Shetty and Saanya Iyer, Deepika Das and Shine Shetty, Bhuvann Ponnanna and Chaithra Vasudevan, Karthik Mahesh and Sangeetha Sringeri, among others.
Chandan Shetty and Niveditha Gowda met on Bigg Boss Kannada and even got married, but the celebrity couple later got divorced. Divya Uruduga and KP Aravind are still going strong, while Jashwanth Bopanna and Nandini came to Bigg Boss Kannada OTT as a couple, but split up shortly after.
