In the Bigg Boss Kannada 11 finale week, social media speculations about the top 6 contestants and the possible winner were at an all-time high. While the names that made it to the top 6 were the ones who actually remained – Hanumantha Lamani, Trivikram, Rajath, Ugramm Manju, Mokshitha Pai and Bhavya Gowda – the order of evictions and that of the winner didn’t quite match up until the last few hours.
After a lot of to and fro between the top 2, Hanumantha and Trivikram, the former was eventually declared the winner of Bigg Boss Kannada Season 11. Earlier in the grand finale, it was speculated that Rajath would be the 5th runner-up and the first to leave from the top 6, but it was Bhavya who was actually voted out. In fact, Rajath went on to be in the top 3, which was widely thought to be Hanumantha, Trivikram and Mokshitha.
Following Bhavya, Manju and then Mokshitha joined their fellow ex-housemates on the bench, waiting for the announcement of the winning moment. Rajath was the 2nd runner-up and then, of course, Hanumantha was announced as the winner, with over 5 crore votes. Runner-up Trivikram was way behind with just over 2 crore votes and received Rs 15 lakh in prize money.
Speaking after his win, Hanumantha said that he had no idea he’d emerge winner when he came on the show as a wild card entry. The intention was to have fun for as long as he was in the house.
And with this announcement, Kannada superstar Kiccha Sudeep's long-association with Bigg Boss Kannada came to an end. After 11 seasons and a mini OTT season, Sudeep has finally stepped away from hosting duties, which his fans have been urging him to do for a while. He will focus on his acting commitments, with at least 2-3 films in the pipleline, as soon as he returns after representing team Karnataka at the Celebrity Cricket League, which begins on February 8 in Bengaluru.
