Bigg Boss Kannada 10: Netizens predict female winner this season

The 10th season of Bigg Boss Kannada was meant to be one of happiness and festivities, but the milestone edition of the popular reality show was anything but that. From the start, the contestants were literally at each other’s throats and now, with only four weeks to go and eight contestants remaining in the house, tensions are set to flare. Last weekend, Michael was eliminated, leaving Vinay Gowda, Karthik Mahesh, Sangeetha Sringeri, Tanisha Kuppanda, Namrata Gowda, Drone Pratap, Tukali Santhosh and Varthur Santhosh still in the running for the title.

Although names of potential winners in this season have been doing the rounds since the beginning of the show, the frontrunners have mostly been Karthik, Mahesh, Pratap and Sangeeta. In recent weeks, though, the tide seems to have shifted in favour of a female contestant winning the season. It has to be noted that in the 9 earlier seasons, there’s only ever been one female winner, when veteran actress Shruthi walked away with the title of Season 3 eight years ago. Every season has had strong female participation, but there have not been enough winners, which, netizens feel, the makers will look at rectifying this season.

The buzz on social media is that Sangeetha is being seen as a potential winner, although Karthik Mahesh could just pip her in the finale. Namrata, Tanisha, Tukali and maybe even Varthur are likely to be eliminated in the coming weeks, they feel, adding that Karthik, Vinay, Pratap and Sangeetha are, undoubtedly, finale shoo-ins. In terms of the vote percentage, Sangeetha may be behind the three men, but things could turn around in her favour over the next four weeks.

Considering all the backlash that the showrunners have got given all the toxicity within the house, a lot of which Sangeetha was the target of, it would not be surprising if she emerges winner of the season.
