Bigg Boss 18: Salman Khan introduces Chahat Pandey and Shehzada Dhami as first contestants; their controversies revealed

Salman Khan hosted Bigg Boss 18 premiered on October 6 on JioCinema and Colors TV at 9 pm. The show began with Bigg Boss introducing one and only host Salman. The superstar had a conversation with the AI-generated versions of his younger and older selves. After this, we were introduced to the first, two, and third contestants, Chahat Pandey, Shehzada Dhami, and Avinash Mishra. 

Bigg Boss 18 first contestant - Chahat Pandey

Bigg Boss 18's first contestant is Chahat Pandey. The actress made her acting debut in 2016 with Pavitra Bandhan. After doing a couple of fiction shows, Chahat is ready to explore the Time Ka Taandav in the new season of Bigg Boss.

Annoucning the first contestant, JioCinema wrote in their Instagram account, "Camera ke saamne bhi superhit, aur Bigg Boss ke ghar mein bhi zabardast fit!

What is the controversy of Chahat Pandey?

Chahat Pandey and Aalisha Panwar shares screen space in a popular show, Nath - Krishna Aur Gauri Ki Kahani. Chahat plays the role of Mahua Rathore, while Aalisha is seen in the role of Gauri Mishra Narayan. They are paired opposite Arjun Singh Dayal, who plays the role of Jeet Narayan. It has been learned that all is not well between Chahat and Aalisha, and the reason behind their rivalry is Arjun Singh Dayal.

A source informed Times Now, “All is not well between Chahat Pandey and Aalisha Panwar. The two actresses are not getting along well. They both work on the same show but don’t talk to each other.” They also refused to give a joint interview at Aalisha Panwar’s party.

Chahat is a daughter of a single mother. During the introduction part, she said that she is grateful for the opportunity and will do her best inside the house. Pandey is a well-known TV actress recognized for her lead roles in popular shows, including Pakhi Parekh in 'Hamari Bahu Silk', and Durga Aneja in 'Durga-Mata ki Chhaya' among others.

Shehzada Dhami is the second contestant of Bigg Boss 18

The second contestant of Bigg Boss 18 is Shehzada Dhami. The actor made his acting debut in 2020 with Star Plus's fantasy drama series Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka!, where he played Rehan Khan.

What is the controversy of Shehzada Dhami?

During the introduction, Shehzada who was loved for his on-screenchemistry with Samridhii Shukla in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, said that he was sacked from the show by the producers citing an 'attitude problem'.

He added that the producer of the show shouted at him infront of everyone on the set and he was humiliated and insulted by him. He even claimed that had if it happened to someone else, he/she would have taken his life.

Avinash Mishra is the third contestant

The third contestant of Bigg Boss 18 is Avinash Mishra. Known for his intense performance in the short film- The Blogger, Avinash is from Kota (Rajasthan) in India. Born on 13th August, 1981 in Kota, Avinash has garnered accolades for his acting in the film. He made headlines for his debut role in Sethji as Bajirao. 

Meanwhile, Bigg Boss 18 is currently premiering on JioCinema and Colors TV.
