Vivian Dsena's Bigg Boss 18 journey ended with him becoming the first runner-up. The actor lost the winner's title to Karan Veer Mehra. Vivian was one of the most strong contenders of the Salman Khan-hosted show. After BB 18's grand finale, Vivian revealed why he chose to do the show. The television actor also opened up about the moment that changed him as a person in real life. He credited his daughter Layan for bringing about a good change in him.
Vivian Dsena on how Layan changed him
In an interview with The Indian Express, Vivian Dsena spoke fondly about his 2-year-old daughter Layan. The television actor said he changed as a person when he held Layan in his hands for the first time.
"I heard something in the background, that sound that came was that you are a responsible human being. At some point of time, we have an ego; some accept that, some don’t. I dropped my ego, and when you do that people love you more. Every experience in life is a big lesson," revealed Vivian.
The actor further revealed the reason he chose to do the Salman Khan-hosted Bigg Boss 18. Vivian said that his wife Nouran Aly motivated him to challenge himself by taking up the show. "God has been kind I have won so many hearts, not lost anything. Whatever happens, happens for the best. We don’t get to know at that time, but in the future we do. I know Nouran has worked very hard and has been a big support in my entire journey," he added.
About Bigg Boss 18 and its top contestants
Bigg Boss 18's grand finale was held on January 19, 2025. The reality show ended three months after its premiere. Chum Darang finished at the 5th spot and Avinash Mishra secured the 4th place. Rajat Dalal made it to the top 3 but was later evicted. Karan Veer Mehra and Vivian became the top 2 contestants of BB 18. And eventually, Karan own the show.
