The new Bigg Boss 18 promo begins with a senior journalist asking Rajat Dalal if he lives with his family. To this, Rajat responds in affirmation. However, he recollects that there was a time when he neglected his family. The promo continues with the journalist mentioning the legal charges against Rajat.

The journalist reminds Rajat of an FIR with Section 365 filed against him. Rajat mentions, "Kidnapping ki hoti hai." Later, the journalist mentions other FIRs lodged against Rajat, including criminal intimidation.

Reacting to the same and addressing his controversial past, the BB 18 contestant adds, "Agar koi chedega... toh main insaan hoon. Main koi murti toh hoon nahi (If someone instigates, I am a human and not an idol)."

Colors TV shared the promo on its Instagram account and wrote, "Tough questions, simple answers! Rajat ne diya baahar ke muddon par clarification. Do you think he handled it well (sic)."
