After celebrating host Salman Khan's birthday recently, the Bigg Boss 18 contestants are all set to welcome the New Year with a bang. Amid the ongoing finale race, the contestants will be seen enjoying some hilarious moments in the house. In the newly released promo, it is revealed that Munawar Faruqui, who won Bigg Boss 17, will be gracing the show and entertaining the audience with his wit and humor. He is seen roasting Karan Veer Mehra and Rajat Dalal, and it is too funny to be missed!
Munawar Faruqui takes over Bigg Boss 18
In the New Year's special promo, the housemates are seen sitting and relaxing in the garden area while Munawar promises unlimited laughter. The promo begins with the comedian saying, "Rajat bhai, ye aapko jitna U-turn bol le, ye bache hai, inhone abhi tak aapki driving nahi dekhi." His comment on Rajat draws loudest cheers from the housemates.
He then takes on Karan Veer Mehra and starts teasing him over his rumored love angle with Chum Darang. Munawar says, "Karan bhai, North-East India me ek state hai", to which everyone replies, "Arunachal." Munawar responds, "Nahi, sasural" leaving everyone in splits. He then adds, "India ke states bhi na ussi naam se pechaane jayenge. Karan ka sasural 1, Karan ka sasural 2..." Karan joins in and takes a dig at himself, "Birthday ki tarah shaadiyan mana raha hu." For those unaware, Karan was earlier married to Devika Mehra and Nidhi Seth but parted ways with them later.

Sharing the promo with the fans, the makers wrote, "New Year celebrations mein lagega chaar chaand jab Munawar banenge host aur comedy ke saath karenge gharwalon ko zabardast roast!" Have a look:
Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut will be seen making an appearance in tonight's episode. She will be seen promoting her directorial debut, Emergency. It is slated to release on January 17, 2025, after a long delay. The film also stars Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, and Milind Soman in key roles.
