Salman Khan-hosted reality show Bigg Boss 18 will have its grand premiere on October 6, 2024. After a year-long wait, fans will witness the new edition of Bigg Boss. The theme of Bigg Boss 18 is 'time ka tandav' and the house has been accordingly designed. A day before the show's premiere, the makers have unveiled the first look of Bigg Boss 18 house. It has an Indian touch to it.

JioCinema, the OTT platform where Bigg Boss 18 will stream, dropped an intriguing first look of the BB 18 house. Hosted by Salman Khan, Bigg Boss 18 comes with breathtakingly beautiful and mysterious interiors. The house represents the era of caves and forts. The Bigg Boss 18 house also has hidden doors, cameras, and secret entrances.

Here's the first look of the Bigg Boss 18 house:

The bedroom has been designed like a fort while the kitchen of the Bigg Boss 18 house looks like a cave. The jail is another major highlight of the house. Talking about the bathroom, the theme is inspired by the Turkish hammam. The entrance also has a huge Trojan horse. For the uninitiated, it took 200 workers and 45 days to design the Bigg Boss 18 house.

Omung Kumar on designing Bigg Boss 18 house

In an interview with The Indian Express, art director Omung Kumar opened up about the theme of Bigg Boss 18 house. "India is so beautiful and we hadn’t tapped into that, so we did that. The entrance is a tribute to the pre-historic era. This year is about the claustrophobia of the cave. Everything is muted in terms of colours, but it will eat you up later on. There are hidden entrances, and secret doors in the house. The best part is that the house will be confusing initially for the contestants," he said.
