Bigg Boss 18 grand finale: Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 winner Karan Veer Mehra picks up the trophy, wins Rs 50 lakhs too

In a surprising twist at Bigg Boss 18 grand finale, not the laadla of the house Vivian Dsena but Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 winner Karan Veer Mehra has picked up the trophy on Salman Khan's show. The same left Vivian somewhere between disappointed and confused. It is to be noted that Vivian was among one of the most popular contestants of Bigg Boss 18 and was declared among top 2 right when he made his entry on the show. Karan Veer, on the other hand, was the underdog aka the black horse of Bigg Boss 18

Karan Veer Mehra declared winner of Bigg Boss 18

Right after winning Rohit Shetty-hosted Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, Karan Veer Mehra also took home the Bigg Boss 18 trophy and the prize money of Rs. 50 lakhs. Soon upon being declared the winner, Karan ran to give Chum Darang and Shilpa Shirodkar a hug for being a part of Bigg Boss 18 journey.

Vivian Dsena the runner-up of Bigg Boss 18

Despite being the laadla of Bigg Boss 18, Vivian Dsena failed to pick up the trophy at the grand finale. This comes as a shocker since Vivian was also the more popular contestant among the two, but Karan, from the looks of it, was grossly overlooked. Interestingly, Karan and Vivian battled it out constantly during their time inside the Bigg Boss 18 house, thus making them the nemesis of the Salman Khan-hosted show. Eventually though, Karan cleared that they are friends and have always been that.

Vivian Dsena declared among top 2 back when he entered Bigg Boss 18

Bigg Boss was biased towards their 'laadla' Vivian Dsena since the very beginning. The proof of it was in the prediction of him being among top 2 since day 1. The concept of past, present, future was followed for a while, and during the time, Bigg Boss predicted Vivian and Alice Kaushik as top two finalists. While she got evicted much prior, Vivian made it to top 2, thus proving one prediction right.
