Bigg Boss 17 has finally premiered on Colors TV and Jio Cinema on October 15. The reality show is now set to bring some spicy and drama-full episodes every day at 9 p.m. A lot of popular celebs not only from our country but around the world are seen as contestants on the show. Jigna Vora and Munawar Faruqui are some of the Indian personalities, who appeared to gather more attention on premiere night. Connecting the dots and similarities, the ex-crime reporter connected with the standup comedian and also remembered the horrifying time she had as a prisoner in the Byculla jail.

The infamous former journalist entered the show with Sana Raees Khan, the popular Indian criminal lawyer. Before sending them off to the BB house, host Salman Khan introduced both women on the stage and also mentioned that they have many similarities as one of them was a popular crime reporter in her days, while another one is currently a famous criminal lawyer.

As soon as both the women enter together inside the house, they meet everyone and introduce themselves. Vora makes herself comfortable on the couch in the living area and starts talking to Faruqui in Gujarati and reveals to him that she also belongs to the same place. Moving on, she tells the comedian that they both hold more similarities than just language as she has also spent a long time in prison and she understands his feelings completely. The comedian mentions that he would never want to go back to such a place or even think about it. Meanwhile, the former crime journalist also remembers her horrifying past of being a prisoner for 9 months in the Byculla jail.

About Jigna Vora
The infamous Indian personality was at the peak of her career when she was falsely accused of the murder of another popular crime journalist in 2011 and was imprisoned in Byculla jail for nine months. Soon after getting off the charges, Vora wrote a book on her experience in the jail that went on to be adapted into a Netflix web series named Scoop starring Karishma Tanna.
