Former 'Bigg Boss' participants and notable figures such as Pooja Bhatt, Karan Kundrra, and Shalin Bhanot are set to make appearances in support of their favorite contestants during the 17th season of the controversial reality show. Pooja Bhatt will be backing Mannara Chopra, actress Amruta Khanvilkar will enter to support Ankita Lokhande, Karan Kundrra will be championing Munawar Faruqui, Shalin Bhanot will stand by Abhishek Kumar, and producer Sandiip Sickand will extend his support to Arun Mashettey. These personalities are slated to join the show on Saturday, just a day before the grand finale, which will be hosted by Salman Khan.
Just a few minutes ago, reports claimed that Karan would be entering the show as a celebrity guest in support of Munawar Faruqui. Soon after the reports surfaced online, Karan faced backlash for his decision. Many social media spread hatred on the grounds of religion. One X user said, “Why is Karan supporting a Muslim being a Hindu?”
Replying to such hatred-filled comments, Karan took to microblogging site X and said, “Dharam - Adharam ki baatein Twitter pe pelne waalon: Kundrra apna Dharam ache se samajhta hai issliye diye waade pe khadda hai!! Mere dharam ne mujhe yahi sikhaya hai aur jiss dharam ki aad mein apna propaganda chala rahe ho.. neutral audience woh bhi dekh rahi hai toh chinta mat karo..! Apni clinic chalao. (For those who talk about atheism and believers of God: I believe in my religion and stand by it. My religion has taught me a lot in life. Don’t be influenced by the politics of propaganda. Don’t worry about me. Neutral audiences know me and my intentions well. Haters can focus on their clinics of propaganda.)”
